Introducing Ben&Jack Studio: Photography, Filmmaking, Education, Creativity, Community

We’re thrilled to finally open the doors to our brand-new photography and filmmaking studio — a space designed from the ground up to bring bold ideas to life. This studio isn't just for our productions. We plan to open our doors to all creatives and to educate young filmmakers too!
It's a huge commitment, it's a little bit scary but it's also what we needed to propel Ben&Jack Studio forwards and to create something amazing that will benefit a much wider group of people than just Ben and Jack.
The first person to be photographed in the studio was the lovely Ella Jones. Ella writes and performs all of her own songs and swung by to shoot a little music video and to get some photos for promo.

The space will not only enable us to vastly increase our output of documentaries and content focused on having a real, societal impact. It will also enable us to hugely develop the mentoring and education work we have become incredibly passionate about.
We are increasingly opening our doors to local media students who are searching for the practical, hands on experience of the media industry that simply cannot be replicated on a college course. We have worked with students from BCA, Furze Platt School, Chichester University, Chalfont College and Loughborough University.
It has been fulfilling to help them take their first steps in the world of work and secure their first professional job. We now want to make this offer available to the wider community, no matter their situation or experience and run workshops and training that help make the often privileged and exclusive world of filmmaking accessible to everyone.
Our education space will be the perfect environment for aspiring filmmakers — a place where we’ll run workshops to share everything we’ve learned in the industry with the next generation. And the best part? It doubles as a cinema, perfect for screening our own films and showcasing premieres from other local talent!
There is not a huge amount in our area when it comes to the creative arts and we are of the firm belief that face to face connection is waaaay more favourable than social media interactions. We will be hosting meet ups and get togethers where creatives in the area can come along, network, chat and shoot the breeze all while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. In an ever increasing faceless society, we hope to bring creatives together, forming real connections.
